Since she was 15, Victoria's songwriting has reflected her vocal versatility i.e she has dabbled in writing pop, blues, jazz and country. After performing to a standing ovation from 18,000 fans at a Shania Twain concert in 1999, followed by winning first place in the 18 & Under category of the Canadian Open Country Championships in 2000, Victoria decided to cut her first CD. The result was "All Woman Girl", a bright collection of 12 pop country songs, of which 8 were penned by herself, including the title track. Larry Delaney of Country Music News in Canada listed "All Woman Girl" amongst the 12 best albums released by Canadians in 2001. Read Larry's review HERE. But it wasn't until after she met her professional & personal partner, Australian singer/songwriter & gifted guitarist, Andrew Rudd, in 2005, that Victoria felt her songwriting finally going where she wanted it to go. These two talented musicians found they shared an uncanny love for rhythmic variations and unexpected musical changes that reflected their vast tastes in music. Today, Victoria and Andrew are penning & producing an innovative collection of songs that blend their eclectic tastes in rock, blues and jazz into what promises to be one of the most exciting and different CD's to come along in a while. If all goes as hoped, the CD will be ready for your listening pleasure by the end of 2008. For now, it's being kept tightly under wraps while they perfect the production. Get ready for a CD that "puts music back into contemporary music"! You'll love it!
In the meantime, they support themselves either by performing in tribute shows or by gigging as an acoustic/electronic Duo at corporate functions, private parties, casinos, resorts or fundraisers, or on Cruise ships.
