VICTORIA BOLAND: BIO |

|
|
Victoria Boland is a "vevila", a Gaelic
term for "a woman of melodious voice". Born with a song in her
heart and music in her soul, Victoria first charmed audiences with her
rich, mellow voice at the age of 6, and cut her first recording at age 8
in Australia.
Other highlights of Victoria's musical
career include performances to a standing ovation from an audience of
18,000 at a Shania Twain concert in 1999 & singing to 16,000 at Queen
Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee in 2003. Despite being a successful tribute artist, Victoria's primary focus has always been, and still is, her singer/songwriter aspirations. She and Andrew are currently working hard on their new CD which is being kept tightly under wraps. All we can tell you is that this CD will be very different and "puts music back into music!" Incidentally, when Victoria's not
performing or writing songs, she has an interesting unrelated hobby: she
buys and sells precious gems and jewelry! Visit her sites at
